Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Closed

The MediaSource is not connected to any playback element.

Open

The MediaSource is connected to a playback element and ready to append data to its SourceBuffer (s).

Ended

MediaSource::end_of_stream() has been called on the current MediaSource
